Out of order for almost a week due to flu.  Probably caught last week during trip to city.  Well enough to start posting again.  Not much else.  Here is a city scape.

Next drawing from my old notebook.  I was playing with different pens and pencils lying around at my mother's apartment.   I even wonder if the reddish lines were not black originally.

I often find houses or buildings representative of the mind with their many rooms, nooks and crannies, hidden passages, bridges.  Why such an inaccessible door in this one is a bit of a mystery. 

Magic Village

 

Remembered some old drawings and felt like trying again.  (When I looked for said early pieces, they looked quite different.)  I'm enjoying these crazy buildings.   I like to imagine who lives there.

Another Little House.  Maybe prompted by my love of being home, happily occupied in daily activities.

I used to love drawing houses as a kid.  I still do.  Houses with trees.  And clouds and flowers.

childhood themes are coming back and i love them. i remember endlessly drawing houses surrounded by trees, a sun, some flowers... very typical but so delightful to execute.
