Something peaceful to help with anxious times. My quiet morning drawing has become a very special time for me.

King and Fool
Images come to me. I do not know why or what they mean. Probably should try again to read Joseph Campbell. Or not.

Friendship
I try to accept results as they come. But I really didn't like the heads on that drawing. Pasted over with new heads and enjoyed the feeling of freedom this brought (freedom to mess up sometimes.)

Birds, birds, birds
Birds in Line.
Found a started collage from at least 2 years ago. Just the pieces of paper on an old drawing. No idea what I was planning to make of it then. Started by whiting out background and each piece of paper became a bird!

Green Fool
I remember watching a little friend, Katherine, drawing some girl figures. I delighted in the intense and controlled way she colored the outfit entirely in black. It gave the drawing such a sense of design. I love black too. My turn to color in black.

Parade
Child, Fool and Bear. Where do these come from? I was driving back from Williamstown thinking of a tiny native watercolor of 2 youths on horses I saw at the College Museum. And these 3 popped in my mind. The fool was leading. But I enjoyed putting the child first when it came to drawing.

Fire-Plant
Done mostly in a doctor's waiting room. Then finished tonight with a feeling of urgency. This drawing-a-day thing is getting addictive. Might have to let go of this time consuming technique.

salvaged
So busy with life small mishaps that I have to resort to an old drawing for my daily post. Found this in a reject pile ready for tearing. Decided to keep it. Fantastic Thing #1.
