One of my favorite thing to do: drawing imaginary plants. Occasionally I study an actual twig brought back from a nature walk, but mostly I prefer making my own version of things.

Follow the Leader
A bird collage.
The body of the little leader looks like a sideways bookshelf to me. I like to think of following an educated leader who puts value in books, reading, the Arts, ethics.

Follow the Leader
More birds. It's an obsession, it seems. At least, a harmless one.
It is such fun to go through bits of papers and choose the ones that have to go together.

mixed media.
I've always liked the symbol of the bridge. Here, between 2 very different worlds.

Fun with Feathers
Pecking
Pen and ink and watercolor on paper
A drawing from a few years ago when I was going through a pen and ink phase. (One of many over the years. I do love the feel and sound of the pen scratching on the paper.)
